This sixteen-week writing class continues to afford middle school students an opportunity to write across the spectrum of forms and purposes while continuing to master basic concepts in sound writing skills. The course begins with a diagnostic paragraph and then continues on where Middle School 1A left off. Students will practice descriptive, expository, and persuasive writing in multi-draft assignments, along with a single-draft test essay. Students may begin with either semester, depending upon how much review they need.
This course is offered twice per year: in the spring and in the fall.
