We will focus on connecting events and ideas to people and on making connections concerning cause and effect of human activity and relationships throughout the relevant time periods. Large-scale topics include the Fall of Western Rome, Formation of Medieval Europe, Rise of Islam, Crusades, Late Medieval Period, Renaissance and Reformation, formation of the Early Modern World through the 1800s. Each semester is 16 weeks long.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"preFade fadeIn\"\u003eThis class aims to familiarize students with the figures and events of the Medieval and Early Modern Eras of history.
